It's been a while since I read it but the whole book is about the "forbidden" stories--the ones the preachers tend to pretend don't exist because of their blatant examples of sex, violence and murder. At any rate, the premise of the book sounds awesome--after all, who among us hasn't raised our fist in rage at god? Great post. Can’t wait to hear your observations. Really? From God ... himself? How do you know this? Was it in the reference section collecting to some sort of heavenly archive not of this world? Did God tell you he said those things? Or are you just taking the writers' word(s) for it that it was God, himself, that said these things and not the writers, interpretations of the writers, and the delusional or collectivist agendas of the writers who put the words there? “There’s a lot of quotes from God himself in that book.”
